In January, Build Oregon partnered with @biggieclean, a 20-year-old hazardous
material cleaner based in Beaverton, for a social media collaboration. On TikTok
alone, biggieclean has 4.2 million followers! For just a couple hundred bucks he
promoted the benefits of the skilled trades across his social media channels. You
can see the impressive statistics of this influencer's one post in the image to the
left (provided by AGC).
The power of influencer campaigns as a part of marketing and recruiting is clear.
One thing Build Oregon/AGC is still working on is how to track the full lifecycle of
the outreach. Today, Build Oregon staff can see how many engagements the user
made and referrals to training sites outside of their platform, but they haven't
been able to follow this stream to see how many people signed up for a training
program, attended a listening session, or other calls to action. In our podcast

information gap in the near future through strategic tech/software solutions. To
